Often times when I am using AI search tools, I have to correct the algorithm. AI is a learning module. I would never turn a nursing student loose on the floor. There is always oversight, criticism, sometimes praise, but mostly correction and knowing when the nursing student is ready to move to the next assignment or if more time is necessary in the current assignment. AI concerns me as a Healthcare Professional for many years. Humans also need human interaction to feel a sense of belonging. AI is quick to pull information to tbe table, but it is not always contextual. AI is also somewhat one track, where humans can relate to the person they are interacting with and develop a real trusting relationship. I believe it will be a big learning curve for clinicians and patients to trust AI-integration into daily Healthcare practices.
